  • Always store your gold pieces in a dry, safe place away from other items that might scratch or damage them.
  • 14K gold benefits from gentle cleaning and occasional polishing.
  • Use warm water and detergent-free soap with a soft brush or cloth to clean. Or use a Jewellery Care Kit. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Diamond & Lab-Grown Diamond Care

Whether natural or lab-grown, diamonds are among the hardest and most enduring gemstones — but even they deserve thoughtful care to maintain their brilliance over time.

At Inés Sánchez, we select both natural and lab-grown diamonds for their exceptional beauty and craftsmanship. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and physically identical to mined diamonds, and should be cared for in exactly the same way.

To keep your diamonds radiant:

  • Avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as chlorine, bleach, or strong household cleaners, which can dull their shine or damage metal settings.

  • Remove diamond jewellery before working out, swimming, or doing household tasks that may expose the piece to impact or residue.

  • Store diamond jewellery separately to avoid scratching other pieces or being scratched themselves. We recommend a soft pouch or lined jewellery box.

  • Clean gently at home using a soft-bristled toothbrush, warm water, and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
